OB Ultrasound: OB ultrasound is used to confirm location (intrauterine or ectopic) of a pregnancy, estimate the age of the pregnancy, evaluate fetal anatomy, assess fetal growth, and assess fetal well-being. Click here for more information.
Pelvic Utrasound: Pelvic ultrasound is generally performed to evaluate the uterus and ovaries. Common reasons for the exam include pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding and to evaluate pelvic masses. Click here for more information.
Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)- Infertility testing: Hysterosalpingography is typically used to examine women who have difficulty becoming pregnant or who have repeated miscarriages. Contrast ( x-ray dye ) is injected through a catheter into the uterine cavity to assess the interior of the uterus and the patency of the fallopian tubes. Click here for more information.
CT: Abdominal and pelvic CT is generally used to evaluate abdominal or pelvic pain and diseases of the abdominal organs. Common conditions evaluated are appendicitis, diverticulitis, and kidney stones. CT is also performed to evaluate masses or tumors. Click here for more information.
