CT: Abdominal and pelvic CT is generally used to evaluate abdominal or pelvic pain and diseases of the abdominal organs.  Common conditions evaluated are appendicitis, diverticulitis, and kidney stones.  CT is also performed to evaluate masses or tumors. Click here for more information.
